As surgeons, we are specialists who exist to support the efforts of so many other physicians… internal medicine, family practice, gastrointestinal physicians, endocrinologists, OB/GYN… to name just a few. Routine collaboration and consultation with other physicians is essential to providing optimal care for the health of our patients.
At Wilmington Surgical we offer a level of accessibility and convenience that few, if any, can match. We have in-office provider coverage Monday through Friday, an on-site ultrasound laboratory, and 24-7 physician on-call coverage. We also welcome same-day consults for patients who need to be evaluated right away.
We encourage referring providers to ask for FIRST PROVIDER AVAILABLE option and we will have your patient scheduled for consult just as soon as they wish.
