Our new home in 2024!
Thank you Medical Center Drive and hello Iron Gate Dr. Wilmington Surgical Associates is on the move in 2024.
The buildings at 1414 and 1404 Medical Center Drive have been home to Wilmington Surgical Associates since 1972. The property has served our practice well and was renovated several times over the years as needs changed. An enormous amount of top-notch healthcare was delivered out of this location and so saying goodbye to our long-time home will be bittersweet.
But onward we must go! As the population of Wilmington increases, and with it the demand for additional healthcare, we are responding to that need with a facility that is in step with our area’s continuing growth. This move reflects Wilmington Surgical’s commitment to building upon our longstanding reputation as the premier general surgery group in the region. Along with state-of-the-art space, medical equipment, etc., we are currently recruiting 2 new physicians to welcome into the practice. Our goal is to continue to deliver uncommon access to exceptional surgical care.
Our new home will be conveniently located just a few miles away at the corner of Independence Blvd. and Iron Gate Dr. (2739 Iron Gate Dr.).
The building will feature 20,000 square feet of clinical, procedural and administrative spaces. Specifically:
*22 exam rooms
*ultrasound lab — 6 rooms
*3 surgical procedure rooms
*1 stereotactic breast biopsy room
*1 fluoroscopic procedure room
And we’ll have PLENTY of parking!
