Incorporating laparoscopic/thoracoscopic techniques, many procedures can now be safely performed using "mini incisions". This minimal access technique allows for earlier return to eating, walking, work, and discharge from the hospital. Some types of abdominal surgery can be performed with instruments as small as 2mm. in size.
Dr. Medley has been in Wilmington since 1995 and is happily married to his wife Carolyn and they have one son, Michael.
